Utilicast will support renewable owner/developers with interconnection and transmission service-related strategy, analyses and other support work for renewable energy development projects in the WECC for a private Pacific utility. Support activities include power flow studies to determine possible interconnection locations for the projects, including an analysis of MW injection limits at different interconnection locations, as well as a high-level estimates of transmission expansion/network upgrades required for interconnection, considering higher queued generation interconnection requests.
