Utilicast will provide a Central private utility with a report on the processes and software applications used by peer utilities in their generation control centers. Additionally, the report will identify prospective opportunities for the utility to adopt data analysis, business intelligence, and workflow automation.
Utilicast will provide consulting services to support the transition to Next Generation AMI initiatives and onboarding new team members at a Pacific investor-owned utility.
Utilicast was selected to support SPP Markets+ Implementation at a Pacific private utility. Utilicast will support project planning, OATT development, stakeholder engagement, vendor software requirements, design and configuration, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live.
Utilicast was selected by a Central cooperative for a two phase project. During the first phase, Utilicast will support an Alignment and Existing Controls Program Evaluation in which the team will define program objectives and develop a strategic implementation plan, identify and document existing key program-level controls, conduct a comprehensive review of the existing NERC Internal Controls program utilizing COSO framework, and conduct onsite training, among other tasks. During Phase 2, Utilicast will Design and Implement Controls Program, including but not limited to establishing a structured risk assessment process, develop new process and program-level controls to address gaps, establish control testing, and track implementation of new controls.
Utilicast will continue to provide NERC CIP monitoring services, which include monitoring applicable training, processes, and evidence items according to the proposed compliance task review schedule for a Central municipality. Utilicast will also inform the team responsible for monitoring applicable training, processes, and evidence of items changes to NERC/TRE requirements, as well as notify the municipality’s Compliance Officer of the potential ramifications. Lastly, Utilicast will produce monthly CIP reports documenting upcoming compliance activities, completed compliance activities, and open compliance issues.
Utilicast was selected by a Pacific municipality to provide PI System management services including, adding additional data points to the existing PI systems from power plant equipment, PI system maintenance and optimization, implementation of Asset Framework, Event Frames, and Asset Analytics for power plant equipment, high availability and failover support for the PI system, and creation of PI Vision screens for power plant equipment.
Utilicast will provide a Modeling SME in support of a Central regional transmission organization’s market design.
