A Central regional transmission organization’s key objective of Engineering Services to accomplish is the optimization of the Generator Interconnection Process. Utilicast was selected to support the optimization effort which includes completion of Affected System Studies (AFS) and development and implementation of the Joint Targeted Interconnection Queue (JTIG) that combines GI reliability and ITP economic analysis and applies to affected system studies. The Affected System Studies evaluate how new interconnection requests might impact neighboring transmission systems.
