Through a competitive process, a U.S. ISO/RTO selected Utilicast to plan the testing and certification of its Next-Generation Day Ahead market system. The ISO/RTO is implementing a new Market Clearing Engine that includes analytical, technical and performance enhancements.
Utilicast was brought on by a Generation Owner in southwestern United States to advise on combined cycle modeling solutions for CAISO participation. This included exploring opportunities to enhance the financial values through better modeling under the multi-stage generation model (MSG), including the registered cost basis.
