Rick Schaal
Mr. Schaal has 30+ years in the Utility Industry and is the Managing Director for Utilicast's Transmission and Reliability Practice Area as well as the Solutions Lead for the EMS solution area. Rick brings an expansive set of global experiences and subject matter expertise in the integration and delivery of new and upgrade/replacement projects involving Energy Management Systems, Energy Markets & Settlement Systems, Distribution Management & Substation Automation Systems, and Demand Response programs.
Since 2013, Rick has been providing consulting services, project management, and technical leadership to Utilicast teams and Clients in the Pacific Northwest and through-out North America. This includes client projects at PSE, CORE Electric, EWEB, Tri-State, Idaho Power, Avangrid, UMPA, Bonneville Power Administration, Tacoma Power, IPL, Evergy, Seattle City Light, Portland General Electric, Peak/WECC RC, and the NWPP.
