Rick Schaal
Mr. Schaal has 30+ years in the Utility Industry. He is the Managing Director of Utilicast's Transmission and Reliability Practice Area and the Solutions Lead for the EMS solution area. Rick brings extensive global experience and subject-matter expertise in the integration and delivery of new and upgrade/replacement projects for Energy Management Systems, Energy Markets & Settlement Systems, Distribution Management & Substation Automation Systems, and Demand Response programs.
Since 2013, Rick has provided consulting services, project management, and technical leadership to Utilicast teams and Clients in the Pacific Northwest and across North America. This includes client projects at PSE, CORE Electric, EWEB, Tri-State, Idaho Power, Avangrid, UMPA, Bonneville Power Administration, Tacoma Power, IPL, Evergy, Seattle City Light, Portland General Electric, Peak/WECC RC, and the NWPP.
