George Kelly
Mr. Kelly is a consultant who has worked in the electric utility industry for 35+ years and has participated in the creation and reform of numerous electricity markets. Responsibilities included documentation and coordination of overall Parallel Operations/Deployment testing to implement the SPP Integrated Marketplace. Drafting of the FERC Tariff nd Protocol language for the SPP Integrated Marketplace and the system requirement documents and test scripts for implementing their recently upgraded settlements system. Mr. Kelly also has extensive experience in ISO/RTO readiness, testing, rule development, power plant operating practices and procedures, and energy trading related to participation in and compliance with new market structures. Mr. Kelly has worked on market-related projects for SPP, CAISO, MISO, ERCOT, and ISO-NE. Most recently, Mr. Kelly has served as the Test Lead/Defect Manager for multiple projects for Evergy Energy.
