Duane Helderlein
Mr. Helderlein has over 30 years of experience in the electric utility industry, most of which involving various front-office and long-term origination roles. Primary focus on energy marketing and generation dispatch management, business development, and contract negotiation related to OATT, NITSA, and long-term point-to-point transmission service agreements, Federal firm electric service contracts, WSPP purchase and sales transactions, natural gas counterparty agreements through NAESB and ISDA, as well as participation in WECC and WSPP industry committees. In addition, he has experience in project management, budgeting and forecasting, transmission rate case settlement, training, and developing operating guidelines procedures. Most recently involved with Tri-State implementation team for SPP RTO expansion in the Western Interconnection.
