Bill Olson

Mr. Olson has worked in the Energy and Gas Industry for over 30 years, specializing in Energy Market Settlements. His department covered Settlements functions for all ISO markets in the United States, but worked primarily in the Midcontinent market since 2006 and in the Southwest Power Pool Markets since 2007. He is familiar with settlement processes in both Imbalance and Full Market structures. He has also served as the Chair of the SPP Settlement User Group and the MISO Settlement User Forum committees for 14 and 5 years, respectively. Mr. Olson has extensive experience with bid-to-bill operations in wholesale electric markets and software implementations for new energy market settlements that his company was entering.
