Mr. Witmeier is a strategic advisor in electric grid operations and planning with over two decades of experience in ISO/RTO markets, reliability coordination, and generator interconnection. He has held senior leadership roles at MISO, where he led engineering and project management teams within planning responsible for complex interconnection processes. He also led reliability coordination, engineering, and market seams administration within operations. He has driven large-scale transformation initiatives to enhance grid reliability, improve efficiency, accelerate renewable energy integration, and automation implementation. His experience also spams regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
